Hey, I'm Emm!

I am the resident Jr. Artist here at Witch in the Woods Tattoos here in the charming town of Larder Lake! I am a graduate of Haliburton School of Art and Design, where I was able to learn the fundamentals and explore a number of different mediums in accelerated programs. Art has always been a passion of mine, and I’m always striving to grow in my practices.

The thing that most entices me about tattooing is the healing power that can come with the process. It can serve as a visual testimony of personal growth and progress, which can help individuals overcome arduous experiences and

gain a sense of closure and empowerment. Tattoos can also serve as a beautiful reminder of important people, special memories, and the little pleasures that make life worthwhile. I aspire to ensure my clients feel at ease and as comfortable as possible in every stage of creating their artwork, as I am honored to partake in their process of self-expression.

As I continue to learn and grow in my journey, I am most captivated by traditional tattoos with their bold outlines, limited colours and shading, and effective designs. I'd especially like to explore more playful subject matter using vibrant colour palletes. I am drawn to the distinct design elements and the possibilities of combining unconventional themes into fun artworks!

I am thrilled to be learning this craft from talented and hardworking individuals, (like my amazing mentor and friend Jac!) and look forward to working with clients to create healing and meaningful tattoos that convey their life story - or, just some really cool art that they’d like to wear and look at for their lifetime!
